EATG General Assembly 2022: 30 years European AIDS Treatment Group

Back to the "News" list

This year, EATG’s annual General Assembly (GA), was held in Tallinn (30 September – 1 October). It was the first face-to-face General Assembly after two years of online gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2022 marks the 30th anniversary since the European AIDS Treatment Group was founded.

The GA kicked off on Friday, with reports from EATG bodies, committees and the office as well as updates for the membership. On Saturday, the GA voted for their representatives and on motions around internal operations and procedures. Ben Collins and Nyambe Mukelabai were re-elected to the Board of Directors.

The composition of the Board of Directors (term 2022-2023) is:

  • Ricardo Fernandes (Chair)
  • Nyambe Mukelabai (Vice-Chair)
  • Ian Hodgson (Secretary)
  • Ben Collins (Treasurer)
  • Maka Gogia (Director)

The General Assembly was followed by a party for the 30 years of EATG under the theme ‘Colours of Diversity’.

We look forward to meeting again next year!
