EATG is present at the HIV Glasgow congress taking place in Glasgow, Scotland from 10 until 13 November 2024. The organisers are aiming for a programme that will be of interest to clinical investigators from across the globe to review current research and discuss its implications for HIV management strategies. Although there have been significant advances in treatment, new challenges have now appeared. This Congress has moved into areas beyond treatment to look at prevention and cure. The role of people living with HIV in treatment decisions and self-management will feature and they look forward to perspectives in the programme from the community.
EATG is hosting a booth as well as co-organising a session on Emerging Ethical and Participation Challenges in HIV Research and Development. In addition, our workshop STEPS 10: A Community Initiative to Design the Pathway to a Durable ART-Free Control of HIV Infection is taking place prior to the official opening of the conference.
