On this year’s World AIDS Day, the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG), Correlation – European Harm Reduction Network (C-EHRN) and Fundacja Edukacji Spolecznej (FES) are organising a face-to-face roundtable in Warsaw (Poland). The roundtable takes place in the frame of CORE – COmmunity REsponse to End Inequalities. We aim to bring together policymakers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, civil society organisations, and international partners to discuss gaps, barriers, and potential solutions to achieving the 95-95-95 targets set by the UNAIDS by 2025 in Poland and in the region.
Leading up to the 1st of December, we blast community messages from across Europe, reflecting on how no one is left behind in the fight to end HIV/AIDS and inequalities.

“5-5-5” represents people left behind in the 2025 Global AIDS Strategy’s 95% -95% -95% targets. “5-5-5” represents all the efforts needed to reach and go beyond the targets to leave no one behind. “5-5-5” represents what communities want and what is needed to bridge the gap in HIV prevention, treatment and care.
We won’t give up on the 5% living with HIV and accept that they will never know their status.
We won’t give up on the 5% who know they are living with HIV but cannot receive sustained and reliable treatment.
We won’t give up on the 5% who receive treatment but their viral load is detectable.
We take the rights path, and we won’t let anyone be left behind!
CORE – COmmunity REsponse to End Inequalities seeks to reduce inequalities in the HIV, TB and viral hepatitis responses by promoting, strengthening and integrating community responses that have proven key in reaching communities that have been traditionally underserved by mainstream prevention and healthcare services. CORE does so by applying a strong focus on intersectional vulnerabilities. This approach is particularly vital in the context of countries where these responses are still inadequate compared to the EU average.
