TAG’s 2021 Pipeline Report: TB chapters released

Treatment Action Group (TAG) released newly available TB chapters of its 2021 Pipeline Report describing the current research and development landscapes for TB diagnostics and treatment.

In the following 2021 Pipeline Report chapters, available online via easily downloadable PDFs, you will find:

Tuberculosis Diagnostics by David Branigan
Reviews the latest innovations in TB screening and diagnostic technologies, detailing key specifications and characteristics of new and emerging tools and offering suggestions on how to fix inequities fueling present diagnostic gaps.

Tuberculosis Treatment by Lindsay McKenna
Summarizes results from three phase III trials of shorter treatment regimens for drug-resistant TB; and provides an overview of the clinical trials pipeline for new TB drugs and regimens, organized in order of proximity to reaching TB-affected communities.
