Community “Respect my HIV” march: 30 October 2021 in London

Back to the "HIV and Co-Infections News" list

On Saturday 30 October 2021, a community march in central London will focus on respect for the diverse range of people living with HIV. [1]

It will celebrate advances in HIV care and will focus on goals to reduce HIV transmission and also the stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV.

It will also mark the 18th European AIDS Conference being held from 27 – 30 October at the ExCel Centre in London. [2]

This will be a lively event, supported by HIV community organisations, and is one of the few times that HIV is celebrated publicly.

Everyone is welcome – please show your support and come along.

14:15 – Meet next to Parliament Square (in front of St. Margaret’s Church and Westminster Hall)

14:30 – Walk to Trafalgar Square (approx 700 yards)

15:15 – Community stalls and speeches and by celebrities, politicians and activists
