Join us for an inspiring evening in Paris as we launch the report “The Glasgow Manifesto: Advocating Policy Change for People Ageing with HIV – An Analysis of Policy Framework and Recommendations in 7 WHO Europe Countries”
We invite all participants to the EACS 2025 conference, activists, healthcare professionals, community members, policymakers, and allies to come together and be part of the momentum for change.
Ageing with HIV – The Glasgow Manifesto: A Platform for Change is a groundbreaking initiative by the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) dedicated to reshaping the future for people ageing with HIV.
The project aims to build a transnational understanding of the unmet needs of people ageing with HIV and to identify ways to address them. It also seeks to build consensus on actions to be taken by healthcare systems, providers, and policymakers across seven European countries: Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, Romania, Turkey, and Georgia. Following the development of the report, “The Glasgow Manifesto: Advocating Policy Change for People Ageing with HIV – An Analysis of Policy Framework and Recommendations in 7 WHO Europe Countries”, and the successful stakeholders’ dialogue events in Portugal, Georgia, and Romania, we will convene in Paris during the EACS Conference. The purpose of this gathering is to celebrate the project’s achievements and officially unveil the country-specific recommendations to better address the priorities, needs, and experiences of older people living with HIV.
