EATG will participate in the 16th AIDS Impact Conference in Casablanca,  Morocco, with a contribution to the parallel session on PROMs Implementation, led by HIV Outcomes. The title of the symposium is The implementation of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) to drive person-centredness and improve health-related quality of life.

The event takes place on Tuesday, 27 May, 13:30–15:00 at the Grand Auditorium of ESCA. The symposium is moderated by EATG’s representatives Brian West and Nicoletta Policek. The session will include contributions from Mario Cascio, EATG representative for HIV Outcomes, and Kevin Moody, EATG Research Consultant. The symposium will explore diverse perspectives on integrating PROMs into clinical practice and research, with a focus on improving quality of life as a central component of HIV care.

A highlight of the session will be the presentation of the PROMise project, an EATG-led initiative aiming to guide the development, selection and implementation of HIV-specific PROMs in medical research. Kevin Moody will lead a presentation as part of his work on PROMise. His talk will focus on the role of PROMs in research and development processes, reinforcing the project’s goal to ensure the voices and experiences of people living with HIV shape future healthcare delivery.
