Join us in Glasgow on 10 November 2026 for an evening of shared stories, food, drinks and conversation.
EATG invites you to watch a selection of videos from the Legacy Chest, a growing archive of stories from long-term and lifetime survivors of HIV, created through our Long-Term Survivors of HIV project.
The evening will feature a curated selection of Legacy Chest stories, hosted by some of the participants who shared them. It is a chance to listen, reflect, and connect with others in a warm and respectful setting. Please note that the venue is accessible. Food and drinks will be provided, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Seats are limited, so registration is required to attend. If you register but are no longer able to come, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible so that your seat can be offered to someone else. Registration is free.
This event is open to HIV Glasgow conference delegates, community members and partner organisations.
The stories shared reflect real lived experiences of HIV, including moments of loss, stigma, resilience, and joy. Please be aware that some of these stories touch on difficult themes, such as violence, abuse, discrimination, and addiction, and may be distressing. We ask all guests to listen with care and to treat what they hear and see with respect, and to be mindful of the LGBTI+ venue that will be hosting us.
Please note that the evening will begin with a welcome from a member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, who will appear in their characteristic nun-inspired dress. The Sisters are an international LGBTI+ charity and activist movement with a long history of HIV community care.
