Where HIV hides in the body in a person with suppressed infection is a key question for research toward a cure, which continues to be a public health goal. A new study published in Science Translational Medicine suggests that the virus may reside in more types of T cells than previously thought. This, the researchers say, could potentially add a new component to what’s known as the HIV reservoir.
