The four-component meningococcal serogroup B vaccine (4CMenB; Bexsero) did not reduce gonorrhea incidence in high-risk men who have sex with men, according to a randomized trial.
The incidence rate ratio of gonorrhea was not significantly different over 2 years of follow-up between participants who received two doses of 4CMenB and those who received placebo, reported Kate Seib, PhD, of the Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics at Griffith University in Southport, Australia.
