Call for submissions to a compendium of good practice in the health sector response to viral hepatitis in the WHO European Region

WHO/Europe is appealing to Member States, partners and community organizations across the European Region to submit examples of good practice in response to viral hepatitis in the Region for publication in a compendium.

The compendium is expected to be published in October 2019. The compendium submissions should be in alignment with 1 of the 5 strategic directions set forth in the Action Plan for the Health Sector Response to Viral Hepatitis in the WHO European Region, which calls for an end to viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.

This is a great opportunity for colleagues to showcase their work in responding to the epidemic at the national, regional and local levels. The official call was released at the beginning of June. Submissions are due by 15 July.

The submission should fall between 500 (min) and 2000 (max) words and include: title, authorship, background, description of the practice, evidence of impact, and sustainability sections.

Questions, concerns or requests for technical assistance can be addressed to Zachary Thomas Gavry (gavryz@who.int or +45 45 33 71 80) throughout the duration of the project.
