On Monday, March 11, there was an arson attack in the premises of Athens Checkpoint – the most prominent community-based HIV testing and counseling facility in Greece, offering free services to all but mainly targeted to MSM. It is presumed that the motive was homophobic, as the perpetrator(s) removed the rainbow flag from the building. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the fire caused extended damages.
