Activities

EATG activities focus on Scientific Research, Policy and Advocacy and Capacity Building.

EATG supports community-based advocates by:

  • Maintaining a constructive dialogue with the pharmaceutical industry, government agencies, scientific research bodies and any influential body in the field of HIV/AIDS.
  • Developing training programmes on HIV treatment and advocacy aiming at supporting community advocates and partner organisations.
  • Providing speakers, trainers and contributing to programmes (international scientific conferences, seminars or workshops related to HIV/AIDS).
  • Providing funding for translation of patient education materials.
  • Joining forces with peer organisations on issues such as HIV co-infection, substance use and harm reduction, discrimination of vulnerable groups (i.e. migrants, prisoners, sex workers, gays & lesbians, drug users, women and girls, children).
