Representative for the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research

The EATG would like to appoint a new representative and alternate to the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research. The EATG has been represented on the Executive Committee of the Forum since 2001.

This call is open to EATG members and supporting members only.

Founded in 1997, The Forum for Collaborative HIV Research is a public/private partnership at the University of California, Berkeley Washington Campus. The Forum’s mission is to enhance and facilitate HIV research and this is accomplished by bringing together all relevant stakeholders to address emerging issues in HIV/AIDS. In its’ work, it identifies gaps and impediments, frame issues and helps set research strategy. For more information see http://www.hivforum.org/

The EATG would like to move forward with the appointment of a new representative and alternate to the Forum’s Executive Committee to serve for a period of two years (a further two year period will be possible). Some travel to meetings is involved – as is an understanding of the research agenda for HIV.
