Training

The EATG is leading the HIV/AIDS Community organisations providing training on treatment preparedness: treatment literacy and treatment advocacy to obtain the universal access of HIV prevention, treatment and care in Europe.

The EATG aims at empowering more People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) to become skilled advocates. Most of our trainings are not accessible to the public at large and usually target PLWHA, health care professionals, governmental officials, NGO's, researchers, media, etc.

The EATG works:

  • To promote treatment preparedness and capacity building
  • To reach out effectively to Eastern Europe (see Continuous Patient Education)
    • Empowering Eastern European activists when designing/developing projects and training;
    • Develop training for country teams on monitoring & advocacy related to pharmaceutical procurement;
  • To develop the capacity and capability of the EATG membership
  • To develop comprehensive training packages (methodologies, curricula, training materials etc);
  • To set up an “EATG Training Centre”
