Board of Directors
The key bodies of the EATG are the Membership and the Board of Directors.

MEMBERS
Membership of EATG is of two kinds
A. Supporting Membership
B. Ordinary Membership
New members become supporting members. Any individual may acquire Ordinary Membership, provided they support the purposes of EATG. Ordinary membership may be granted by the Board of Directors upon advice from the Development Membership Advisory Group (DMAG).
The Board of Directors informs the General Assembly on new Ordinary Members and rejected applications.
The Development and Membership Advisory Group (DMAG) is the body within EATG that deals with membership related issues. It has the following responsibilities:
- Development of transparent, fair and effective membership involvement and development systems.
- Assessment of adequacy and effectiveness of the working structures, systems and protocols of the EATG and make recommendations for their development.
- Monitoring correct functioning of the EATG according to the Constitution and the protocols adopted by the General Assembly.
- Intervene in conflictual matters, when it deems that the smooth running of the organisation is under thre

Working Groups
The advocacy work is divided into two major working groups:
• The European Community Advisory Board (ECAB),
EATG created the European CAB and actively supports the setting up of national CABs and liaises with all of them. ECAB work includes:
- Reviewing clinical trial protocols giving the point of view of PLWHA Community
- Promoting best practices procedures and ethics
- Promoting universal access to fair, sustainable, affordable drugs
- Promoting research developments improving the quality of living for PLWHA
ECAB plays a major role in influencing the pharmaceutical industry by reviewing protocols prior to the launch of a trial.
Members of the ECAB meet in Brussels regularly.

• The Policy Working Group (PWG)
PWG specifically tackles:
- Access to Treatment and Care Pricing (Pharmacoeconomics)
- Free Trade Agreements, Health, Trade and Intellectual Property
- Surveillance and epidemiology
- Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Health
- Research and Community
- Drug Safety / Patient safety
- Positive Prevention
- Human rights, Stigma, Travel Restrictions and Criminalisation
- Information to Patients and Health Literacy
- New Preventive Technologies
- Drug Users
- Prisoners, Migrants and Ethnic Minorities
- Central, South-Eastern and Eastern Europe and Central Asia
